NYC engagement photos were the sweetest way to honor a city that means so much to Krystin and Joe. Even though they don’t live in New York anymore, it was once home. Choosing to take their engagement photos here was the perfect way to celebrate that chapter of their story. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall day. Crisp air, golden light, and the kind of perfect weather that makes wandering through the city feel even more magical.
One of the best parts of their session was getting to explore so many iconic NYC engagement photo locations. We started in SoHo, hopped on the subway for a stop at Joe’s Pizza, wandered the stoops of Greenwich Village, and ended with a walk through Central Park. Every location felt like another piece of their love story, and together it created such a fun and romantic day.

Fun & Stylish SoHo NYC Engagement Photos
We started Krystin and Joe’s session in SoHo, one of the most stylish and iconic spots for NYC engagement photos. SoHo’s cobblestone streets and cast-iron buildings gave us such a beautiful start. The mix of modern shops and historic facades created a backdrop that felt both romantic and quintessentially New York. SoHo has a way of making photos feel effortlessly chic, and it brought so much character to their gallery.
Krystin and Joe’s outfits elevated the vibe even more. Krystin looked stunning in a sleek white outfit paired with bold red heels. Joe’s light suit added a sharp, modern contrast. Their style fit seamlessly with the architecture and energy of SoHo. It was the perfect place to begin their engagement session.

From the Subway to a New York Classic: Joe’s Pizza
Because honestly, did you even take NYC engagement photos if you didn’t hop on the subway for a few shots? The subway felt like such a classic backdrop, giving us those in-between city moments that always end up being some of the most fun. From quick kisses on the platform to candid laughs between stops, it was the perfect way to keep their gallery feeling authentically New York.
And of course, we couldn’t skip Joe’s Pizza on Carmine Street. Krystin and Joe shared a few slices at the window, proving once again that pizza is basically a love language. It was such a sweet (and delicious) way to pause before heading off to the next stop of their session.
What I love most about NYC engagement photos is how many unique backdrops the city offers. Every neighborhood feels different, which makes it easy to hit multiple NYC engagement photo locations in a single session.

Cozy NYC Engagement Photos Around Greenwich Village & a Coffee Stop
After exploring downtown, we made our way to Greenwich Village where Krystin and Joe slipped into their coziest fall looks with sneakers, layered coats, and baseball caps that felt perfect for a crisp NYC afternoon. This part of their session brought such a relaxed energy, capturing the warmth of the season and the everyday charm of the city.
We wandered through tree-lined streets and stopped for coffee at Madman Espresso, which gave us a chance to photograph them in a more laid-back, candid setting. From sipping lattes at an outdoor café table to cozying up on park benches, these moments added that lived-in, romantic feeling that makes NYC engagement photos so special. The mix of classic city stoops, cozy fall outfits, and coffee-in-hand really captured what a perfect autumn day in New York feels like!

A Romantic Stroll Through Central Park
We wrapped up Krystin and Joe’s NYC engagement photos with a romantic stroll through Central Park, stopping at some of the park’s most iconic spots. From the quiet benches along The Mall to the stone arches and steps of Bethesda Terrace, every corner felt like a picture-perfect backdrop. It’s no surprise Central Park is one of the most popular NYC engagement photo locations. It has everything!
We ended at Bow Bridge, where the fall colors framed them in the most beautiful way. It was the sweetest way to close out such a fun, romantic session. I loved capturing not just the beauty of the city, but their love woven into it. This session was a true reflection of Krystin and Joe’s story.
