Chelesea and Aaron’s Book Tower wedding was effortlessly elegant, with every moment feeling true to them. From gathering with their closest people the night before to celebrating in the heart of Detroit, the day was filled with love, laughter, and so much style. It’s no surprise their wedding was also featured on Carats & Cake—every detail, from rooftop cocktails to a packed dance floor, made it the kind of celebration you just didn’t want to end. Every piece of it felt personal, meaningful, and so completely them.

An Intimate Rehearsal Dinner at Le SuprĂŞme

Chelesea and Aaron kicked off their Book Tower wedding weekend with an intimate dinner at Le Suprême, a beautiful French brasserie inside Detroit’s historic Book Tower. The space felt classic and cozy with soft candlelight and red roses.

Surrounded by 20 of their closest family and friends, the evening was full of laughter, heartfelt stories, and quiet moments that mattered. Above all, one of the most meaningful touches was a framed photo of Chelesea and her late sister. You’ll find it beautifully placed throughout their wedding weekend. It was the sweetest reminder of a love that’s always present.

Sweet Details, Getting Ready, & a First Look from This Elegant Book Tower Wedding

Chelesea and Aaron’s Book Tower wedding began with thoughtful details that felt personal and stylish. From their black and white invitation suite to their playful custom wedding favors of golf balls featuring their dog’s face, every detail reflected who they are.

The morning was relaxed as Chelesea got ready with her closest friends inside Book Tower’s Green Room with city views just outside the window. She wore a sleek satin gown with a beautiful neckline and a pearl-dotted veil. Effortless. Elegant. Completely her. Just down the hall, Aaron shared a toast with his groomsmen, looking sharp in a classic black tux and bow tie.

Before the ceremony, they met for a quiet first look at Kamper’s Rooftop Bar, a stunning space at Book Tower. With its floor-to-ceiling windows and views across Detroit, it created the perfect backdrop for such an intimate moment.

Book Tower Wedding Portraits With “Dean,” a 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible

Before making their way to the ceremony, we carved out time for portraits that felt timeless and personal. Chelesea and Aaron stepped into “Dean,” a 1940 Ford Deluxe convertible from Motor City Vintage Rentals. The sleek black exterior and cherry-red interior added such a fun pop of color to their day. It perfectly complemented the elegance of Book Tower behind them.

We then took the car over to the newly restored Michigan Central Train Station, one of Detroit’s most iconic landmarks. Between the grandeur of the architecture, the vintage car, and the way these two looked at each other, it was impossible not to pause and take it all in! Every shot captured not just the beauty of the setting but the connection between them, which is what truly matters.

A Book Tower Wedding Ceremony in The Linden Room

Chelesea and Aaron’s ceremony took place in The Linden Room inside Book Tower, an intimate space that was perfect for their ceremony. With its clean lines, warm wood details, and soft lighting, the setting felt timeless and inviting.

One of the most meaningful parts of the ceremony was seeing Chelesea walk down the aisle with her brother. It was a moment full of so much love and support. Their dog even made a sweet appearance. From the music to the vows to the walk back down the aisle together, everything about this ceremony felt genuine and relaxed, exactly how it’s supposed to be.

Kamper’s Rooftop Cocktail Hour & Elegant Book Tower Wedding Reception in The Conservatory

Cocktail hour on Kamper’s Rooftop was the perfect breather between the ceremony and reception. Guests enjoyed city views, live strings, and cocktails while the couple mingled and shared laughs with their favorite people. Effortless, relaxed, and full of good vibes.

The Conservatory at Book Tower was the perfect setting for the reception. It was elevated, intimate, and filled with so many gorgeous details. The space itself is stunning with its parquet floors, rich wood, and views of the city skyline, but the white roses, orchids, and candles brought it to life in the classiest way.

For their grand entrance, Aaron switched into a sharp white jacket, and Chelesea added a last-minute scarf that (fun fact) her friends and I actually helped put together earlier that day. Truly iconic. Later in the night, Chelesea changed into a sparkly black Nadine Merabi dress (her favorite color) that was a total vibe for the dance floor and champagne tower. It was truly one of those nights you just didn’t want to end.

A Note From Chelesea & Aaron:

“Where do we start with our journey with Patty? From our first FaceTime to the delivery of our wedding album and every moment in between, Patty has become family. Her patience, dedication and passion for her couples is one of a kind. Patty photographed our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and the entire wedding day. There was no need for endless inspiration photos, we fully trusted her vision. Her incredible work and talent speaks for itself. Every moment captured was true art. We could not recommend Patty more and we’re truly so lucky to have her part of our story.”
